# About Mold Removal Oakville

When we founded Mold Removal Oakville 12 years ago, we did all of this work with just two people. The majority of our early work at that time included residential projects; primarily localized mold growth, wall dampness, leaky basement repairs, and bathrooms plagued by excessive moisture. In that early period most everything (including assessments through remediation) was done by one small crew.

The way in which the volume of work, and complexity of our project types continued to grow as the company grew. After 4 years, we had enough personnel to allow for separation of the Assessment phase from Remediation. Prior to this time, each member of our original crew performed both phases of each project. Following this expansion into attic, basement, and water damage related project types, the total number of personnel increased to 6. This was also around the time we incorporated Containment, HEPA Filtration, Moisture Assessments, Photo Documentation and others into our standard procedure and eliminated our reliance upon the "See Mold -- Remove Mold" approach.

Our current Model/Methodology incorporates Eight Specialists and has allowed our Team to complete over seven hundred Projects. Approximately Four Hundred Thirty of these have involved Residential Properties, where the typical issues started out as a Leak, Condensation or Hidden Moisture Problem. Roughly another One Hundred Sixty Cases have involved Attic/Basement type Projects where the Source of Moisture can be located somewhere other than where the Mold is first observed.

Our Approach to addressing Mold Growth Issues has evolved dramatically over the past dozen years. As opposed to viewing Extensive Demolition as an indication of Quality Workmanship, we now identify the Source(s) of Moisture, Define the Actual Affected Area and Determine What Must Be Removed prior to initiating any Remedial Action.

In terms of Building Our Team, we do not view adding additional Personnel as merely having more People. Rather, we believe it allows us to segregate the various Phases of a Project including Assessments, Containment, Remediation and Final Verification more effectively and eliminates the need to treat Each Property as if they are suffering from similar Problems.
